“The collaboration with Artotel is the first time Ekraf has partnered with a hotel chain and this is a good step to grow the creative industry in Indonesia. The target given by the president to achieve 8% growth by 2029 and the creative economy has been aligned with other development priorities. To achieve this target, we continue to cooperate with various parties such as currently with Artotel and the Indonesian Game Association. This cooperation can also take place in various other subsectors to create an advanced and competitive Creative Economy ecosystem. A potential subsector that can be cooperated with this large hotel chain is culinary.” Dessy Ruhati, Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Creative Economy.
“In line with Presidential Regulation 24 of 2024 to support the promotion of local games, there is cooperation like this. The game industry in Indonesia is valued at around 2 billion USD and Indonesia is the largest market in Southeast Asia. Game developers in Indonesia are very grateful to Ekraf and Artotel for providing opportunities that can be used as a platform and promotion of Indonesian games so that they can be enjoyed by many and this is also the first hotel to work with local games. This collaboration is very beneficial because the Artotel market is very suitable for the Indonesian game market.” Shafiq Husein, President of the Indonesian Game Association
