A Joyful Day at Pulau Kemaro

As part of the Asta Karya initiative, ARYADUTA Palembang invited children from Tirta Kadesy Orphanage to spend a meaningful and joyful day at Pulau Kemaro, one of Palembang’s most iconic cultural landmarks. The children enjoyed a leisurely walk while listening to the fascinating stories and legends of Pulau Kemaro, shared by the Palembang Good Guide team.

“Through Asta Karya, we aim to create programs that not only bring positive impact to society but also nurture empathy, compassion, and love for local culture. ‘Jalan Ceria di Pulau Kemaro’ is a true reflection of how togetherness and kindness can inspire us all,” said Emmy Yunarti, General Manager of ARYADUTA Palembang.

Painting and Creativity with Kala Art

The day continued with a creative painting session themed “Pagoda of Pulau Kemaro”, led by the Kala Art team. The children expressed their imagination through colorful artworks depicting the beauty of Palembang’s cultural icon. This activity encouraged creativity and served as a fun and interactive learning experience for the participants.

A Warm and Meaningful Closing

The event concluded with a heartfelt gesture, the donation of food packages to Tirta Kadesy Orphanage followed by a cheerful lunch together. The warm atmosphere symbolized ARYADUTA Palembang’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and its mission to spread kindness, unity, and community spirit.
