Archipelago, a prominent hotel operator in Indonesia, successfully hosted the Commercial Summit 2025 from February 10 to 13 at the Aston Kartika Grogol Hotel & Conference Center in Jakarta. The event saw the participation of over 180 leaders from the sales, marketing, and PR divisions of 143 Archipelago hotels across Indonesia, from Sumatra to Papua. With the theme "Purposeful Marketing: Driving Commercial Growth in a Digital World," the summit served as a key platform for bringing together sales and marketing communication leaders and top business partners to share insights, enhance knowledge, and strategize on driving commercial growth in the digital age.
Archipelago Succesfully Held the 2025 Commercial Summit with 143 Hotels from All Over Indonesia
The event began with a Welcome Dinner enlivened by performances from summit participants with the Commercial Got Talent (CGT) competition as a talent search and talent event from Archipelago hotel network staff throughout Indonesia. The CGT performance participants were selected through a long selection from the national level to become the top 8, where the winners from each region will later compete again at the 2025 Commercial Summit Gala Dinner.
The event continued on the second day with a conference day that discussed various important topics in the world of digital marketing. Some of the main topics discussed along with the speakers include;

As part of this year's Commercial Summit series of events, a Sales Blitz and Archipelago PR Workshop & Media Connect were also held. The Sales Blitz was attended by 125 participants from each hotel under the Archipelago umbrella, along with several government agencies such as the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Ministry of Villages and Transmigration, Ministry of Manpower, as well as SOE agencies such as Pertamina & OJK. Meanwhile, the Archipelago PR Workshop was attended by 56 Marcomm & Sales Leaders from Archipelago hotels. The Archipelago PR Workshop invited 2 speakers, namely Sudrajat, as Editorial Board & Chair of the Detik.com Ethics Committee, who discussed crisis management and trends in the media, and the second speaker was @Metadigital.az as a Digital Creative Influencer, who discussed Social Media Hacks. This activity was also accompanied by Media Connect, with a Speed Networking concept, where all participants had the opportunity to talk with 10 Media Outlets, which was also done to establish relationships between hotel marcom and National Media and create opportunities for collaboration
From in-depth seminars to inspiring panel discussions, participants were equipped with the latest strategies and insights to tackle challenges and achieve success in the ever-evolving hospitality industry. With the support of partners such as Traveloka, Tiket, MG, Hyperguest, Tripbtoz, and STR, Commercial Summit 2025 not only served as a platform for knowledge sharing but also strengthened relationships and built deeper collaborations.
