Semarang welcomes a new afternoon tea collaboration as Goolali Gelato Bar & Patisserie partners with TWG Tea, the internationally renowned luxury tea house, to present Artisan Afternoon Tea at Padma Hotel Semarang. The limited time experience is available from 5 August to 30 September 2026.
A limited time collaboration between Goolali and TWG Tea introduces a refined afternoon tea experience inspired by Semarang’s local flavours and premium tea pairings.
The collaboration combines handcrafted pastries, elegant desserts, freshly baked signature breads, and savoury delicacies curated by the culinary team of Padma Hotel Semarang. Several creations highlight local inspirations, including Pisang Ijo Macaron and Es Kacang Merah, while TWG Tea infused pastries feature blends such as Weekend in Shanghai Tea, Sakura! Sakura! Tea, and Timeless Tea.
To complete the experience, guests may choose two servings of TWG Tea from English Breakfast Tea, Moroccan Mint Tea, or Grand Jasmine Tea, each selected to complement the sweet and savoury offerings. The presentation is designed for relaxed afternoons, intimate conversations, and small celebrations with family or friends.
The afternoon tea is served at Goolali Gelato Bar & Patisserie, located in the lobby of Padma Hotel Semarang, and is priced at IDR 375,000++ per tray, with portions intended for two guests to share. The venue itself is known for its contemporary atmosphere and focus on handcrafted desserts, artisanal pastries, and premium beverages.
According to Enggie Anggakusumah, Executive Pastry Chef of Padma Hotel Semarang, the concept reflects a balance between precision and creativity in pastry making, where every element is carefully composed to create a memorable tasting experience.
The launch adds another notable dining experience to Semarang’s growing culinary scene, particularly for visitors who enjoy refined pastries, premium tea selections, and elegant hotel based afternoon tea experiences. Reservations are recommended due to the limited availability period.
