On May 28, 2023, éL Hotel Bandung organized a fun run event called éL -Run 2023. Attended by 400 runners from both within and outside Bandung, this event embraced the theme of "Heritage Modern." The route covered iconic locations such as Jl. Asia Afrika, Gedung Merdeka, Jl. Braga, and Jl. Printis Kemerdekaan and its surroundings. Adding to the excitement, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Mr. Sandiaga Uno, participated in the flag-off of éL -Run 2023. Mr. Sandiaga Uno, also known as Sandi, arrived at the starting location as early as 5:40 a.m., donning sportswear and ready to join the running event. "Take care of your safety and have fun because the theme is about running," expressed Sandi during the event opening. Accompanying Mr. Sandiaga Uno was the Chief of Bandung Metropolitan Police, Kombes Pol Budi Sartono, who also participated in the fun run in Bandung. Enggartiasto Lukita, the owner of éL Hotel Group, was present at the start line and encouraged participants to warm up before the morning run. Mr. Enggar also mentioned that this event would be held regularly and expanded to other cities if necessary. éL-Run 2023, organized by éL Hotel Bandung in collaboration with Fakerunnersbandung as the community partner, was conducted in an orderly and smooth manner. The event was open to the public, not just limited to hotel guests. It was sponsored by several prominent companies in Indonesia, including Police Owner Group (POG), Bank BJB, PT. Family Sejati Textile, PT. Mayora, Bapenda, Hydrococo, Fitbar, Nutrisari, BTV, Ardan Group, K-Lite, Intibios, and eL-Hotel Group. At the same time, Mr. Iyok Supriatna, the General Manager of éL Hotel Bandung, shared the enthusiastic response from runners regarding the éL-Run event. "We intentionally limited the number of participants to avoid overcrowding," he said. Furthermore, Hani Hanipah, the Public Relations representative, explained that éL-Run was organized to revive the spirit of sports and fitness after the pandemic.
