With more than two decades of experience in luxury hospitality, Jean Taouk has joined Six Senses Uluwatu, Bali as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Previously, he worked at Anantara Sahara Tozeur Resort & Villas in Tunisia and held the position of Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, overseeing 10 hotels for Fortune Group Hotels based in Thailand. Jean's professional journey also includes roles at Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort Phuket in Thailand and various resorts in Indonesia, such as Karma Resort Group, Living Asia Resort and Spa Lombok, and Banyan Tree Ungasan. With a wealth of international luxury experience in the resort and Bali market overall, Jean is leading a dynamic sales and marketing team, bringing a fresh perspective to help the resort achieve its objectives successfully while delivering genuine and exceptional service, as well as new brand offerings to the guests.
To commit to delivering authentic and exceptional guest experiences, Six Senses Uluwatu, Bali has appointed Jeffrey F. Seward as General Manager, effective July 24, 2023. With more than 20 years of experience in the international hotel industry, Jeffrey joins the team from Denver, Colorado, USA. He has an impressive track record working with renowned luxury brands such as Ritz-Carlton, Aman, Taj, Anantara, and the Fullerton Group. One of his notable career milestones was overseeing the opening of Aman's first urban hotel in Tokyo, Japan. During this endeavor, he immersed himself in the local culture, collaborating with Sumo wrestling institutions and reintroducing disappearing traditions like the crafting of Samurai swords to Aman enthusiasts who had never experienced such cultural richness before.
Continuing with this exciting announcement, Six Senses Uluwatu, Bali is delighted to welcome Ignacio Moreno as the new Executive Chef, starting from September 1, 2023. Ignacio, who previously worked at Six Senses Ibiza, brings a creative and sustainable approach to elevate the culinary experience at Six Senses Uluwatu, Bali. His culinary journey spans three continents and includes exploration of over 30 countries. Ignacio has honed his skills at some of the world's most renowned restaurants and luxury hotels, including the three Michelin-starred Martin Berasategui Restaurant in Barcelona, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray in Dubai, Capella in Singapore, Park Hyatt in Mallorca, and Mandarin Oriental in Barcelona.
As the Executive Chef at Six Senses Uluwatu, Bali, Ignacio is dedicated to collaborating with local farmers and growers to source ingredients that nourish and delight, transforming each element into delectable, hyper-fresh dishes inspired by the surrounding environment and local culture.
