SGi Air Bali: Rebranded Luxury Adventures

Indonesia’s leading aviation services provider, SGi, today the rebranded parent company of Air Bali, has announced a fleet of new helicopters supported by further investment in innovation and technology to meet a growing market for aerial adventures.

Since 1992, the well-recognized pioneer in civil rotorcraft began its Air Bali operations by providing VIP helicopter excursions for international visitors, medical evacuations, aerial surveys, and cinematic content.

The company’s new aircraft will service its core business and a burgeoning market for point-to-point executive transportation, aerial tours, and VIP charters over some of the world's most breathtaking scenery of volcanic mountain-scape and tropical coastlines.

CEO François Lassale says: “SGi Air Bali has provided both curated and bespoke luxury adventures for thousands of inbound travelers who have discovered the spectacular geography of Bali and beyond from the air and we have done so with an unblemished safety record.”

Air Bali’s distinction according to Lassale is its peerless commitment to Basic Aviation Risk Standards (BARS) and its investment into live in-flight monitoring and tracking, Flight Data Monitoring (FDM), and Health and Usage Monitoring (HUMS) of its helicopter engines and gearboxes.

With some 84 audits a year and advanced VR simulator training, safety is cornerstone to Air Bali’s success as the region’s leading VIP operator of exclusive helicopter journeys. “We’ve ticked all the key safety boxes such as Standards for Offshore Helicopter Operations, Aerial Mustering, and Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) and that’s what sets SGi apart from other aerial operators,” says Lassale.
