Deus Ex Machina Indonesia Reaches New Heights in West Java Through the 2023 BBQ Ride Event

We rose to lofty new heights this past weekend in West Java. From Saturday to Sunday, March 11 - 12, 2023, we joined BBQ Ride. The event gathered 12,000 visitors throughout the two-day exhibition. As one of the most anticipated events in West Java, we showcased some of our custom builds and best-selling and collectible apparel ranges, drawing visitors' admiration and praise. We were amongst nearly 150 exhibitors who, like us, welcomed attendees from all walks of life with a full range of motorsports, motorbikes, and scooters.

To start things off, the organizers got everyone with a custom bike together, which was over 300 riders, their idea of a ‘rolling thunder’ that rumbled through the streets of Bandung in a procession that was both a little scary and incredibly enthralling. They all lined up at Pickers Store before flying up to Summarecon Avenue on such an incredible variety of different motorcycles. BBQ Ride isn’t all about selling, in fact, most people were super happy to be entertained by the various art and photography installations and the varied musical lineup featuring performers from popular bands such as Jangar from Bali, The Panturas, and Pure Saturday.

Deus family members Sandi Maulana and Dede Juntha, along with the rest of our team, also engaged with everyone on hand, sharing their expertise and passion for custom culture and discussing the latest trends in the industry. Along with other riders, Manasi Ride from Surabaya and Solace Motor from Jakarta, we decided to take another ride, this time we embarked on a journey to take in some of that Bandung beauty. The ride allowed us to stop at some wonderfully scenic spots, the break giving us time to share stories, coffee, laughter, and experiences. The camaraderie amongst the riders was infectious, and their passion for custom motorcycles was evident.

"It’s such an honor to be part of the Deus family," said Sandi. "We’re having fun, this is the way of life. We share the same values and vision for promoting custom culture and are excited to be part of such a passionate and creative team." Dede added, "We can't wait to engage with the community and visitors and share our expertise and passion for custom culture. We believe that Deus Ex Machina is the perfect platform for us to showcase our unique styles and inspire others to embrace their creativity and individuality."

“We have always been about exploring new depths and pushing the boundaries, and this event was no exception," said Jehan Khaleda, the Marketing Manager for Deus Ex Machina Indonesia. “From the moment we arrived, we were stoked to be there cultivating inclusivity and enthusiasm for the Deus Ex Machina lifestyle and a strong focus on identity expression in Gen Y. This event provided us with the perfect opportunity to put those values into play by introducing new, fresh ways to interact with the community.”

With a rich legacy of creating bespoke motorcycles, surfboards, and clothing, Deus Ex Machina Indonesia has carved out its own niche in the custom culture scene and is now poised to go to really kick it into higher gear. With its commitment to quality, Deus Ex Machina Indonesia is a leading name in the custom culture scene now and for years to come as we get out into these shows where we get to meet more and more like-minded people in West Java and Jakarta.
