The Series Of Events For The Reveal Of Cucina From Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort

As the waves ripple gently to Bali’s southern shore in Nusa Dua, it washes over the bed of a white-sand beach overlooking the luxurious five-star beachfront sanctuary, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. This year, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort reopens its signature restaurant, Cucina with a new exciting concept. The recently revamped Cucina offers an invigorating new look, a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere, an Italian head chef – Chef Patrizia Battolu to lead the culinary team and a new zero- waste concept uniform.

Speaking of a restaurant, one can never resist the beauty of art poured onto the food at the heart of its concept. The magnificent Cucina Brunch by Chef Patrizia Battolu and team, represents a melting pot of various types of  cuisines  that  is  available every Sunday from 11am to 3pm. The Cucina Brunch offers an extravagant selection of Italian, Spanish, French and Asian ateliers as well as a lavish array of cheese and desserts, starring fresh local ingredients with authentic flavours. Meanwhile, Cucina serves a la carte Italian-Mediterranean menu for a delightful dinner, available daily from 6pm – 11pm.

The euphoria to reveal Cucina culminated with an exclusive Sunday brunch for the invited high-profile guests on Sunday, 28th August 2022 supported by BRI Private, BRI Prioritas and Adelle Jewellery, with Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia as the main media partner. Becky Tumewu and Rian Ibram were the host of the event, during which were attended by celebrities, travel bloggers and media partners mainly from Bali and Jakarta including Nicholas Saputra, Fachri Albar, Renata Kusmanto, Sapto Djojokartiko, Andien Aisyah, Niluh Djelantik, Anindya Kusuma Putri, Daddo Parus, Febrian and more. It was a memorable Sunday afternoon with a lively atmosphere, blessed with the presence of good friends, live music performance and a fashion show by Adrie Basuki to elevate the joyful moment.

Being fashionable yet responsible, Cucina’s uniforms are designed by Adrie Basuki, a mindful Indonesian artisan who specialises in using crafty “kain perca” and recycled cotton rayon for a minimum environmental impact. The colour and pattern of the new uniform are inspired by the sky and ocean view of Positano village on the southern Amalfi coast in Italy. These uniforms are tailor-made by housewives in Kampung Perca, Bogor – Indonesia. During the Cucina Brunch on 28th August 2022, Adrie Basuki shared his passion, motivation and collection, as well as the beauty of working alongside the housewives community in Kampung Perca. In collaboration with Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua, a donation was arranged for Kampung Perca’s community from any purchase of Adrie Basuki’s new collection during the Cucina Brunch.

Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua is beyond grateful for receiving a tremendous support from our friends and partners for the Reveal of Cucina. The revamped Cucina with its invigorating new look and concept is excited to welcome in-house and non-staying guests starting from Monday. 29th August 2022 for dinner and from Sunday, 4th September 2022 for the Cucina Brunch.
