Celebrated globally since 1998, World Laughter Day is a celebration of happiness brought to live by the cheerful sound of laughter resonating in the air. Even though sometimes this celebration is overlooked by many, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali understands that laughter can bring a significant impact on our well-being and the feeling of contentment in life.
To commemorate this exciting event, the Resort, and its creative team has created inspiring programs during the first week of May with Laughter Yoga by The Heavenly Spa as well as Celebrate Women discussion highlighting self-love is-not-selfish, alongside a group of women with resounding success in their respective field.
Beginning the journey of World Laughter Day’s celebration, The Heavenly Spa rolled out a feel-well Laughter Yoga activity with Eka Sukma, a certified yoga teacher and the founder of Eka Sukma Yoga Foundation, on Friday, the 5th of May 2023.
Eka Sukma’s passion in presenting yoga as a balance way to balance the physical, mental and spiritual happiness of a person will guarantee an energetic yoga session in a relaxing atmosphere. Eka Sukma will lead the guests of the resort during the Laughter Yoga activity to do the Hasya Yoga, that encourages persistent laughter even when there seems to be no reason for it because it is believed that laughter is contagious, and happiness can be created.
