Kicking off the day with invigorating light stretching led by a friendly host, the outdoor team building adventure at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali commenced on a high note. Excitement filled the air as we gathered on the resort's pristine beach. The teams were then divided into two groups, each easily recognizable by the vibrant colors of their 'udeng' (Balinese traditional hats, provided by the resort), with one team donning orange and the other exuding energy in green. With everyone geared up and refreshed by sips of cold water between the games, the stage was set for the action-packed activities to unfold; promising a day of fun, collaboration, and unforgettable memories!
Balap Karung (Sack Race)
This traditional Indonesian game, known as the Sack Race, takes on an exciting twist when done on the beach. Participants are divided into two teams. The objective is simple but entertaining - each team member must hop inside a sack and race towards a pole located about 3-4 meters away. After circling the pole, they must race back to their starting point and then pass the sack to the next teammate in line. The game combines physical activity, coordination, and a healthy dose of laughter, fostering teamwork and friendly competition.
Dig the Word
This unique and creative teamwork game is designed to strengthen communication and problem-solving skills. Teams are tasked with digging into a designated area on the beach, either with their hands or provided mini-shovels, to uncover pingpong balls with letters on them. Once they have gathered enough pingpong balls, the challenge is to arrange them into a meaningful sentence. The game encourages effective collaboration, quick thinking, and strategizing, all while immersing participants in the beautiful beach surroundings. The team that successfully forms the sentence in the shortest time emerges victorious, making this an engaging and effective team bonding activity.
Tarik Tambang (Tug-of-War)

'Tukik' Release (Turtle Hatchling Release)
Adding a touch of environmental conservation and meaning to the experience, the 'Tukik' release is a heartwarming activity unique to The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali. 'Tukik' refers to turtle hatchlings, and this activity involves guests actively participating in the preservation efforts of these endangered creatures. The resort collaborates with local non-profit turtle preservation organizations to provide guests with the opportunity to release these adorable hatchlings into the sea. Each of our team members receives a tukik in a wooden bowl, and together, we walk to the shoreline to release the tiny turtles onto the soft sand. Witnessing the hatchlings make their way to the ocean is an awe-inspiring and wholesome experience. We truly felt a deep sense of fulfillment and a greater appreciation for environmental conservation.
