We were enamored by Jade by Todd English artsy and unique space from the moment we stepped into its venue. The interior features a jade green-tinted decor complemented by touches of wood, black, and white, creating a harmonious blend of colors. The dim lighting enhances the overall atmosphere, making it a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The indoor semi-open breeze adds a refreshing touch, while the tinfoil roof finishing and a well-equipped DJ booth with precise audio settings elevate the ambiance to another level.

Culinary Excellence: An Exclusive 9-Course Delight

Under the renowned Chef Todd English, the kitchen's quality is assured. During our media gathering visit, we had the pleasure of indulging in a 9-course dining package. Each dish represents unique and delightful flavors; showcasing the versatile arrays of meticulous gastronomic creations the renowned chef has to offer.

Starters: Rich Combination of Appetite Booster

Our culinary journey at Jade by Todd English began with the Edamame Guacamole with Lotus Root & Ube Chips, where crispy chips met a guacamole sauce with a wasabi aftertaste, blending savory, creamy, and delicious flavors that set the evening's tone. Next came the Smashed Cucumber 'Greek-Anise,' a peculiar yet delightful mix of salty, sour, and creamy flavors from feta, black olive tapenade, and rice wine vinaigrette, enhanced by fresh cucumber bites and a hint of olive and avocado juice, all served lavishly in a tall glass.

Tuna Tataki Tart

The Tuna Tataki Tart followed, featuring a crispy spring roll with ginger onions and sriracha aioli, where the crunchy, savory roll and spicy sriracha perfectly complemented the soft, tasty tuna. The Labu Pumpkin Wontons, uniquely presented within a whole pumpkin fruit, offered a delightful contrast of crispy exterior and tender interior, filled with rich pumpkin paste and a hint of cheese, paired with a soy brown butter dip. The Squid Ink Chawanmushi, with king crab and Thai red curry, combined the salty, savory curry with umami-rich chawanmushi, topped with generous slabs of king crab meat and caviar, best enjoyed warm and savored slowly. Lastly, the Whipped Ricotta Ravioli provided a cheesy, soft, and creamy delight, enhanced by a soy tomato and lobster 'fra diavolo' sauce, adding a perfect sour and salty hint to the creamy ravioli.

Mains: A Fusion of Tantalizing Flavors

The main courses were a true highlight, starting with the Wagyu Filet Mignon Szechuan 'Au Poivre,' featuring succulent Korean-style short rib with portobellos and wasabi potatoes. The rich, bold flavors, enhanced by foie gras and hoisin sauce, made this dish an unforgettable standout. Equally impressive was the Peking Duck Fried Rice, served with foie gras, duck egg, and orange hoisin, combining scrumptious Peking duck meat, edamame, and perfectly fried rice, all presented in a whole coconut for a delightful tropical touch. The sweet and savory flavors melded together deliciously. Another variant of this meticulous menu is the Peking Duck Bolognaise; combining the flavorful Peking duck with creamy pasta in an East-meets-West tantalizing dish.

Desserts: Sweet, Creamy Delight

For dessert, we indulged in the Triple Chocolate Lava Cake, accompanied by a sweet and buttery toffee sauce and Balinese coffee ice cream, which provided a mildly sweet, palate-cleansing finish to our meal. Throughout this exquisite dining experience, the Fantini Pinot Grigio proved to be the perfect wine pairing, enhancing the flavors of each course.
