In collaboration with Bandung artist Chad Williem, the exhibition titled "Lamun Namun" invites art enthusiasts to a nostalgic journey back to their childhood.Chad Williem showcases a diverse collection of 12 artworks in this exhibition, each depicting precious moments from the past that have long been forgotten. With warmth and precision, he excavates these memories to build a rich visual narrative filled with emotion and meaning. Drawing from his experiences as a designer, creative director, stylist, and photographer, Chad believes that art shares fundamental elements that can be applied across various fields and forms. Over the past two years, he has explored different media and mediums, aiming to break conventional boundaries just like a child experimenting with new ideas.Using a variety of mediums such as paintings, installations, paper, and more, Chad demonstrates his exceptional technical skill in portraying the innocence and vulnerability of children in a complex world. Each brushstroke or crayon mark brings us closer to the pure feelings and spontaneity of childhood, often buried deep in our memories. Chad reveals that revisiting past memories is not merely about nostalgia but also about delving into the depths of our emotions and true selves.
