With great pride, the Television and Film Study Program of the Indonesian Institute of Arts and Culture (ISBI) Bandung announces the organization of this year's "Film Week," which will take place from November 28 to December 2, 2023. The event, held at the Sunan Ambu ISBI Bandung Art Building, will bear witness to the diverse synergy and creativity in the national film industry. The event integrates educational programs and film appreciation where participants can engage in various activities designed to increase knowledge and appreciate film works.

This Film Week organizes educational programs about the film industry through Cinema Classes and Cinema Talks with leading professionals. In addition, a series of film screenings are held to give appreciation to various film works, culminating with the Nusantara Cultural Film Festival (FFBN) Awards Night on the last day.

Dara Bunga Rembulan, M.Sn., Head of the Television and Film Study Program at ISBI Bandung, expressed the vision of this event, "ISBI Bandung Film Week is not just a festival, but it is a movement to synergize and build a sustainable film ecosystem in film education. This is a meeting place for stakeholders and activists in aesthetic visual narrative.”

One of the Film Week program series is the Nusantara Cultural Film Festival (FFBN). Since its inception in 2018, the FFBN initiated by the Television and Film Study Program of the Faculty of Culture and Media at the Indonesian Institute of Arts and Culture Bandung has become an important venue for fiction and documentary filmmakers to explore and disseminate Nusantara Culture. With this year's theme ‘Lestari’, the festival invites young generations to be part of cultural preservation through film, turning it into an effective means to raise and preserve cultural issues.

"FFBN is an event of appreciation and meeting that supports filmmakers to actively engage in cultural preservation. This year, with the theme 'Lestari' meaning sustainable, we invite all filmmakers to convey their love for Nusantara Culture, showing the sustainability of culture through unique and meaningful creative expressions," added Dara.

We invite all film and culture enthusiasts to join this celebration and witness the synergy between cinema and cultural sustainability that we offer. Further information about the event can be obtained through the contact below.
