This year, InterContinental Bali Resort enters its 30th year. To welcome this impressive milestone, InterContinental Bali Resort orchestrated a sacred purification ceremony in the idyllic resort area on 18 June 2023. The ceremony, led by Balinese priest, is intended to show gratitude to Sang Hyang Widhi (Almighty God), as for three decades, the Resort has provided the best hospitality in Jimbaran, Bali and continues to present a memorable stay experience for its esteemed guests.
The ceremony is also a celebration of the ending of the Covid-19 pandemic, as stated by the World Health Organization (WHO) last month. At InterContinental Bali Resort, the pandemic made people give their best effort to keep the property running while delivering the best hospitality despite all the challenges. And with the end of the pandemic, the whole team came back with a new spirit. This spirit will preserve the status of InterContinental Bali Resort as one of the finest 5-star resorts on the island.
Amidst the challenging time of the Covid-19 pandemic, InterContinental Bali Resort also successfully launched Jimbaran Convention Center (JCC), the largest indoor convention Jimbaran. Jimbaran Convention Center has multipurpose event venues, ranging from grandeur ballrooms to function rooms to outdoor spaces. Since its launching in October 2022, Jimbaran Convention Center has become the choice for event organizers to hold an event, including the G20 Summit and the upcoming Art Moments Bali on 23 June 2023. Art Moments Bali is the first art fair in the island and set to be the destination for artists and art enthusiasts.
