Pullman Bali Legian Beach invites guests to discover Ember & Oaks, an intimate evening bringing together Keris Single Malt Whisky, an interactive cigar-rolling experience, curated canapés and live jazz. Taking place on Friday, 25 September 2026. The evening invites guests to slow down, exchange stories and discover the character behind each carefully crafted pour, cigar and note.

Five Years in American Oak, Recognized by MURI (Indonesian World Records Museum) and International Gold Medal-Winning

At the heart of the evening is Keris Single Malt Whisky, a spirit inspired by the traditional Indonesian keris that requires time, precision and close attention to every detail. Keris Single Malt Whisky follows a similar philosophy, beginning with carefully selected ingredients and continuing through an extended maturation process that allows its character to develop over time.

Keris is matured for five years in American oak barrels before being finished in Oloroso sherry casks. Presented at 43% ABV in a 700 ml bottle, the current Keris Silver expression reflects the patience and craftsmanship behind every pour.
 

The whisky has earned recognition both in Indonesia and internationally. In 2024, Keris Single Malt was recognized by MURI (Museum Rekor - Dunia Indonesia - Indonesian World Records Museum) as Indonesia’s first single malt whisky. In 2025, it went on to secure four Gold Medals at international competitions, including the Spring and Autumn Blind Tastings by The Spirit Business, the Chicago Beverage Tasting Institute, and the Asia International Spirit Competition (AISC).

A Hands-On Indonesian Cigar Rolling Experience
 

Complementing the whisky experience, Pranada Cigar will present a guided cigar-rolling session that invites guests to explore the craft behind a hand-rolled cigar. Participants will have the opportunity to roll their own Javano cigar, made entirely with Indonesian tobacco, from its filler and binder to its wrapper.

Javano offers a distinctive flavour profile with notes of black coffee, dark chocolate, toffee, roasted peanuts, earthiness and black pepper. Paired with the depth of Keris Single Malt Whisky, the experience presents two expressions of Indonesian craftsmanship in a refreshingly contemporary way.

Curated canapés and a live jazz performance will complete the evening, creating an unhurried setting where guests can connect, discover the story behind each pour and cigar, and enjoy every moment from the first sip to the final note.

Ember & Oaks will take place from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm at Pullman Temple, Pullman Bali Legian Beach. The experience is available at IDR 400,000 nett per person and includes Keris Single Malt Whisky, a guided cigar-rolling experience, curated canapés and live jazz entertainment.
