Following the successful debut of the Indonesia Finest Bar Series, Batique at Alila Villas Uluwatu returns with its second chapter, welcoming two of Indonesia’s most celebrated cocktail destinations for an exclusive two-night guest shift experience. Taking place on 21–22 July 2026, the series brings together the creative minds behind The Bottom Parlour and The Cocktail Club Jakarta, transforming Batique into a stage for contemporary cocktail craftsmanship and spirited storytelling.

The event begins on Tuesday, 21 July, with a takeover by The Bottom Parlour, recognized as one of Indonesia’s most acclaimed bars and widely celebrated for its inventive approach to cocktails and hospitality. On Wednesday, 22 July, the spotlight shifts to The Cocktail Club Jakarta, an influential name in Asia’s cocktail scene, ranked #12 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024.

Representing the guest bars are Ronny, a renowned bartender recognized on the Asia’s 50 Best Bars list, and Uncle John, Co-Founder of Bottom Parlour and the mastermind behind its acclaimed house blends. Drawing from his Indonesian-German heritage and Japanese-inspired precision, Ronny is known for crafting cocktails that balance innovation, technique, and storytelling. Alongside him, Uncle John brings his signature creativity, engaging hospitality, and distinctive cocktail presentations, shaped by his expertise in developing Bottom Parlour’s unique flavor profiles. Together, they will deliver two memorable evenings at Batique, showcasing the artistry and evolution of Indonesia’s contemporary cocktail culture.

Hosted within the intimate surrounds of Batique, Alila Villas Uluwatu’s hidden speakeasy-inspired bar, guests will have the opportunity to experience a curated menu of signature cocktails crafted exclusively for the occasion. Each cocktail reflects the unique philosophy and identity of the visiting bars while showcasing Ronny’s distinctive approach to flavor, balance, and technique.
