Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomic Ubud is delighted to announce its participation in this year’s Ubud Food Festival (UFF), set to take place from 30 May to 1 June 2025 in the vibrant cultural heart of Bali.

Now entering its 10th year, the UFF continues to be a premier culinary event in Southeast Asia, uniting food lovers and leading chefs to celebrate Indonesia’s diverse gastronomic landscape. Themed “Heritage” for its milestone edition, the festival pays tribute to the time-honored culinary traditions that continue to shape and inspire the future of Indonesian cuisine.

Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomic Ubud and Chef Blake Thornley will present a curated series of exclusive events to celebrate this landmark year.

 

 

Day One – Friday, 30 May 2025

 

The festivities begin at the Tipple Room by Mozaic with a special appearance by Gareth Whitton, co-founder of Melbourne’s famed Tarts Anon and guest judge on MasterChef Australia 2022. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., guests can indulge in a Tarts Anon Pop-Up, featuring Whitton’s acclaimed modern pastry creations. For an elevated experience, a VIP Pastry Masterclass hosted by Whitton and Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomic Ubud will take place concurrently from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. priced at IDR 388,000++ per person, offering an insider’s look at the finesse behind exceptional patisserie.

 

 

Day Two – Saturday, 31 May 2025

 

The culinary crescendo continues with a six-hands dinner at The Dining Room, priced at IDR 1,700,000++ per person, bringing together three celebrated chefs: Chef Blake Thornley, Mozaic’s creative force–ranked 25th in the world on La Liste’s Top 1000 Restaurants for 2025 and the only restaurant in Indonesia recognized by Les Grandes Tables du Monde; Chef Gareth Whitton and Chef Christian Martena of CLARA Bangkok. Internationally recognized for his inventive Italian cuisine, Martena’s accolades include a Michelin Guide listing since 2021 and the title of 23rd Best Italian Restaurant in the World (2025) by 50 Top Italy.

 

Day Three – Sunday, 1 June 2025

 

Rounding out the weekend, Mozaic’s award-winning mixologist, Bili Wirawan, will lead an inspiring cocktail masterclass at Spice by Blake starting at 2 p.m. Priced at IDR 300,000++, the session highlights Bili’s signature blend of technique and creativity, developed over a career that spans prestigious establishments such as the Four Seasons Jimbaran and The St. Regis Aspen Resort’s Chefs Club.

 

 

Through a dynamic program of masterclasses, pop-ups, and collaborative dinners, Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomic Ubud underscores the Ubud Food Festival’s role as a vital platform for honoring Indonesia’s rich culinary heritage—revived, reimagined, and elevated through global creativity and local authenticity.
