The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud Bali, a wellness resort in Ubud, Bali, will host RUN & RESTORE, a 5-kilometer plogging run on Saturday, 13 June 2026, in celebration of Global Wellness Day. Open to both resort guests and the public, the event is held in collaboration with ASICS Running Club and ACS Bali Foundation, with participation limited to selected participants.

Inspired by Westin’s Move Well philosophy, the initiative encourages participants to embrace movement as part of holistic wellbeing while contributing to Bali’s environmental sustainability efforts. The early morning run will take participants through Ubud’s rice fields and lush village surroundings while collecting litter along the route, a practice known as plogging.

Unlike a conventional fun run, each participant will carry a collection bag throughout the 5-kilometer route, helping leave the surrounding area cleaner than before. Timed at sunrise, the experience is designed to showcase Ubud at its most serene, with cool air, quiet pathways, and natural scenery creating a restorative atmosphere aligned with the spirit of Global Wellness Day.
