This June, two of Bali’s most distinctive bar destinations—Syrco BASÈ Bar in Ubud, part of Ubud's fine dining scene, and L’atelier Bar at The Apurva Kempinski Bali—come together to present “Sip, Showcase, Share,” a collaborative bar series designed to highlight each venue’s unique approach to cocktail craftsmanship.

The collaboration will unfold through a two-part bar takeover. It begins on 18 June 2025 at 7PM at Syrco BASÈ Bar, where the L’atelier team will take over the counter to present their curated cocktails, bringing the bold and artistic spirit of their bar to Ubud. A second takeover will follow at L’atelier in Nusa Dua on 24 July 2025, where the Syrco BASÈ team will present their nature-driven mixology philosophy to a new audience on Bali’s southern coast.

“This collaboration allows us to bring a part of Ubud to the southern coastline,” shares Arya Dharmayasa, Bar Manager of Syrco BASÈ Bar. “Our drinks are inspired by nature and heritage—each cocktail tells a story rooted in our garden and our culture. We’re excited to share that story with the L’atelier community.”

While each bar is set within a distinctive destination—Syrco BASÈ Bar within a celebrated culinary restaurant in Ubud, and L’atelier atop the luxurious Apurva Kempinski Bali—this collaboration offers a chance to rediscover them in a new light. Both venues extend beyond their prestigious settings: they are unpretentious, open, and thoughtfully curated spaces for those who appreciate creativity in a glass. With no minimum spend and an ethos rooted in inclusivity, Syrco BASÈ Bar and L’atelier invite guests to enjoy their signature approach to mixology in a setting that feels elevated yet welcoming.

By coming together under the theme “Sip, Showcase, Share,” Syrco BASÈ and L’atelier are not only exchanging cocktail menus—they’re sharing philosophies, expanding reach, and inviting new communities into their spaces.
