An International Celebration of Music with Ania Druml, Bryant Gozali, and Carla Suharto
The acclaimed Padma Musical Series returns with a cross- continental collaboration, A Cello Journey – From Vienna to Bali, featuring rising Austrian star Ania Druml, alongside Indonesia’s own Bryant Gozali and Carla Suharto. This evening of musical brilliance will bring together three extraordinary talents, bridging cultures through the universal voice of the cello and piano.
Set against the luxurious backdrop of Padma Resort Legian on Sunday, October 19, 2025, the concert promises a night of virtuosity and storytelling that spans continents. Audiences will be transported from the heart of Bali to the grand traditions of Vienna in a program celebrating both classical mastery and vibrant cultural exchange.
Ania Druml, a highly gifted Austrian cellist and pianist, has performed across Europe, the USA, and Asia, collaborating with leading ensembles as well as making her debut at prestigious festivals such as the Cello Biënnale Amsterdam. Hailed for her “wonderful warm tone” (Kleine Zeitung) and described as one of the “shooting stars of the Austrian music scene,” she brings international prestige and youthful brilliance to the Padma Musical Series stage.
She will be joined by Bryant Gozali, one of Indonesia’s very own leading young cellists, currently Co-Principal of the Jakarta Simfonia Orchestra. A graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music and UCLA, Bryant is celebrated for his nuanced ensemble playing and deep commitment to chamber music and education.
Completing the trio is Indonesian pianist Carla Suharto, an acclaimed soloist and chamber musician trained in Germany under Professor Thomas Günther. With performances across Europe and Asia and a Gold Prize at the Asia International Piano Academy Festival, she is recognized for her artistry, versatility, and dedication to nurturing Indonesia’s next generation of musicians.
Together, these three artists will present an evening of intimate chamber music that highlights the expressive depth of the cello, the elegance of the piano, and the shared spirit of musical storytelling across borders.
Limited early bird tickets are available now. Early booking is strongly recommended for what promises to be one of Bali’s most captivating cultural evenings this season.
