Bigger, feistier, and bolder, this year’s Dissolve Weekend will take place at three iconic Marriott Bonvoy properties on the island: R Bar at the Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa, Woobar at W Bali – Seminyak, and KulKul Beach House at The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali. The event will feature impressive lineups of international and local DJs, including Indonesia’s household name gone global Dipha Barus as the main headliner, and a variety of special acts that take the festival to a new level. Building on the annual success since its debut in 2022, this year’s Dissolve Weekend offers a thrilling series of events across different venues for a uniquely immersive festival experience. The festivities begin on 16 August 2024 with a sundowner session, setting the perfect tone for the weekend. On the following day, attendees can dance to electrifying music, enjoy dazzling light shows, and partake in various entertainments. The festival concludes on Sunday, 18 August 2024, with a laid-back cooling-down session featuring soothing tunes, refreshing drinks, and cocktails curated by the award-winning mixologist from Gold Bar of The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon, one of the World’s Top 50 Bars, all complemented by fantastic beachside vibes.
Friday, 16 August 2024 – R Bar at Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa
Party, drink, and revel in the unforgettable views of Uluwatu’s splendid coastal setting.
Festival goers can look forward to kick off Dissolve Weekend with a sundowner session at R Bar in the stylish Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa. Guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails, stunning coastal views, and catchy sunset beats. Renowned mixologist Sebastian Von Arx who is also the Bar & Operations Manager of Segno Bali, one of the 25 finalists
of 50 Best Bars The Blend Scholarship 2023, will curate a bespoke cocktail menu for an unforgettable sensorial journey. Performances on the day include DJ Ona Nara (3pm – 5pm), who blends traditional culture with electronic music, DJ Katze (5pm – 7pm) with her dynamic genre-blending sets, Buenos Aires’ DJ LuN (7pm – 9pm) known for his analog instrument mastery, and R Bar’s resident DJ Aswin Prayudi (9pm – 11pm), who will close the night with his high-energy performance.
Saturday, 17 August 2024 – Woobar at W Bali – Seminyak
Dance the night away at one of Seminyak’s iconic sunset and party hotspots.
Continuing the celebration, on the second day Dissolve Weekend will electrify Woobar at W Bali – Seminyak, renowned for its stylish ambiance and bringing world-class performances to the island. Guests are invited to sip innovative cocktails and enjoy flair bartending by Dodoh, the head mixologist of Bangkok’s acclaimed Revolucion Cocktail, dance to the music by DJ Nanda (5.30pm – 8.30pm) with his jazzy house and soulful sounds, as well as DJ Wilson (8.30pm – 10.30pm), a veteran in Bali’s DJ industry, and the main highlight of the night, Indonesian sensation Dipha Barus (10.30pm – midnight). Known for his unique blend of house music with traditional Indonesian elements, Dipha Barus has captivated audiences worldwide with his remixes and festival performances, solidifying his status as a leading figure in Indonesia’s electronic music scene.
Sunday, 18 August 2024 – KulKul Beach House at The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali
Cool down with elevated cocktails and swaying beats at Nusa Dua’s chic beach house.
Festival goers can conclude the Dissolve Weekend at KulKul Beach House with a laidback cooling-down session. The event will feature award-winning mixologist Marina Kishida from Gold Bar, The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon, one of the World’s 50 Best Bars, who will elevate KulKul’s beach atmosphere with refined cocktail artistry. Guests can also savor Laguna’s Sunday Brunch at Arwana Restaurant (2pm – 5pm) which offers a delectable spread of barbecue, fresh seafood, and Balinese specialties, accompanied by custom cocktails and bubbles. Through the evening performances from DJ Allyn featuring saxophonist Yudo Saxo (4pm – 6pm) for a unique musical fusion, DJ Ona Nara (6pm – 8pm) with her blend of traditional and electronic music, and DJ Evie (8pm – 10pm) with her energetic sets, will keep everyone grooving to the beats.
