Batique unveiled an intimate and evocative bar takeover, featuring Taketo Utsunomiya, cocktail architect of Notte Uluwatu, for a one-night-only experience that redefined the art of bespoke mixology.
Titled An Unhurried Night at Batique, the evening invited guests into a hidden speakeasy where shadows lingered, conversations flowed, and every cocktail was crafted with intention. Within Batique’s discreet and atmospheric setting, Taketo curated a deeply personal drinking journey, where each creation began with a dialogue, inspired by the guest’s mood, memories, and moment.
Rejecting convention, Taketo transformed the bar into a canvas for storytelling. Each glass became a tailored expression, balancing precision, emotion, and instinct. The result was an immersive experience that blurred the boundaries between bartender and guest, performance and connection, craft and intuition.
From the first pour to the final lingering sip, the night unfolded at an unhurried pace, encouraging guests to slow down, engage, and savor every detail. Set against Batique’s moody interiors and refined ambiance, the takeover delivered a sensorial journey that was both intimate and quietly bold.
The collaboration marked a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and the evolving culture of contemporary cocktail artistry in Bali. As the evening drew to a close, it left behind lasting impressions, meaningful connections, and a renewed appreciation for cocktails crafted with purpose.
