Each Autograph Collection Hotel creates its own "Mark" to reflect its unique identity and heritage. Amarterra Villas Bali, Autograph Collection proudly presents the sacred Balinese blessing ritual as its Mark, and each guest can experience it upon arrival at the resort. For The Mark Week, the resort will present an evocative experience inspired by the rich traditions of Bali.
At the heart of this special week is a sacred Balinese purification ceremony involving blessed water, followed by a transformative journey of spiritual cleansing and cultural immersion. Aligned with the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, which promotes harmony among nature, people, and the divine, Amarterra Villas Bali, Autograph Collection is a sanctuary where ancient practices blend seamlessly with modern luxury.
On September 27, 2024, the resort will host a unique event to celebrate The Mark Week. General Manager Lami Tjandi, will formally open the event with a traditional Kul Kul, a ceremonial signal for gathering. Participants will then learn to create Canangsari offerings and decorate Gebogan—intricatefruit displays that honor the gods, followed by a traditional Balinese parade to the resort’s Padmasana temple.
The highlight of the evening will be the Balinese blessing ceremony, led by a resort priest. The ritual offers profound spiritual and emotional benefits. Engaging in this ritual can enhance one's connection to spiritual and cultural traditions, promote mental and emotional well-being, and create a deeper sense of harmony with oneself and the surrounding environment.
The evening will continue with a sumptuous Balinese dinner at the resort’s iconic Candra Suriya Gate and captivating dance performances, celebrating the vibrant culture of Bali.
