Chug & Roos Sports Bar officially opens its doors to the public in Legian, Bali, introducing a sports bar concept that blends stadium-style match-viewing with a vibrant social dining lifestyle. Carrying the tagline “Game On and Cheers Up”, the new venue arrives to meet the demand from tourists, expatriates, and locals for a fun, energetic, and immersive entertainment space in the heart of Bali's nightlife district.
The name “Chug & Roos” carries a clear philosophy. “Chug” represents the spontaneous celebration that comes with food and drinks, while “Roos” draws inspiration from the sporty, playful character of Australia. Together, they reflect a brand that is fun, energetic, and social — a true fusion of sports entertainment venues and strong F&B experience. Strategically located in Legian, a high-traffic area widely recognised as Bali's entertainment hub, Chug & Roos arrives to fill a gap in the local hospitality scene, where few venues currently cater to the enthusiasm of music and sports communities in the area.
One of Chug & Roos' biggest draws is its massive visual setup. With more than 80 TVs and one large LED screen spread throughout the venue, every corner is designed to deliver full viewing coverage. Guests can follow multiple matches simultaneously, including major international finals, F1 races, and other premier sporting events, with programming focused on popular Australian sports and key international tournaments. With a seating capacity of 160 and total capacity of around 250 pax, the venue also introduces a unique feature called the Personal TV Experience — “Own Your Game” — where selected tables come with their own dedicated TV, allowing guests to choose their preferred channel. It is an innovation that takes the viewing experience to a more personal and interactive level.
On the culinary side, Chug & Roos offers Australian-inspired comfort food and bar bites designed for sharing and social dining. Signature menu highlights include The Monkey Roo's Burger, featuring double beef patties, caramelised onion, and creamy signature sauce; the In N' Out Burger with homemade beef patty and melted cheese; and Beef Stroganoff served with a rich Aussie-style creamy sauce. The venue also features happy hour sessions and seasonal thematic promotions throughout the year.
Beyond watching sports and dining, guests can enjoy a wide range of activities including billiards, beer pong, foosball, darts, and more. As a special highlight for the opening on 5 June 2026, Chug & Roos will also feature pickleball, ping pong, and a variety of other interactive games — giving guests even more ways to play, mingle, and enjoy the energy of the venue. Every weekend, Chug & Roos hosts regular DJ performances and live music in an open commercial format, complemented by themed nights and rotating events. Birthday guests are also in for a treat with a fun, engaging surprise gimmick that brings together the crowd and the entertainment team — turning every visit into a memorable celebration.
“We want to reignite the spirit of tourism in Legian, especially for music and sports lovers — there simply aren't enough venues here yet that can truly accommodate the enthusiasm of these communities,” shared a representative of the Chug & Roos Sports Bar management.

Chug & Roos Sports Bar will host its soft opening on 1 June 2026, followed by an official grand opening on 5 June 2026. A range of special opening promotions will be available throughout the launch period, with media partners and communities invited to be among the first to experience the venue.
