Conrad Bali proudly announces an exciting collaboration with locally renowned award-winning Chef Ragil, bringing an authentic Indonesian culinary experience to the island. This exclusive partnership will debut with a special launch lunch and followed by a two-week feature at the Nusantara Buffet—hosted every Tuesday evening at Suku, one of the resort’s signature dining establishments—which will showcase a dedicated stall designed to elevate the overall dining experience and showcase this exclusive collaboration.

The intimate launch lunch, set to take place on February 25th, will commence with a press conference celebrating the Bali launch of Chef Ragil’s highly anticipated book, Pusaka Rasa Nusantara. Following its successful debut in Jakarta, Pusaka Rasa Nusantara explores Indonesia’s long-lost recipes, with Chef Ragil journeying across the archipelago to curate a four-part series highlighting traditional and authentic flavors from various regions.

The collaboration perfectly aligns with Suku restaurant, which offers flavours from Sabang to Merauke. Meaning “tribes” in Indonesian, Suku represents the country’s vast culinary diversity, serving dishes from Balinese, Batak, Minang, Sundanese, and Javanese traditions. The restaurant’s signature rijsttafel-style service—family-sharing menus available all day—invites guests to experience Indonesia’s culinary heritage in an interactive and immersive way.

On February 25th and March 4th, a special stall featuring three signature dishes from Pusaka Rasa Nusantara will be showcased during Suku Theme Night Dinner: Nusantara Buffet. This exclusive addition allows guests to explore Chef Ragil’s interpretation of Indonesia’s diverse culinary heritage, offering a deeper connection to the rich flavors and traditions highlighted in his book. Priced at IDR 685,000++ per person, this dining experience invites guests to savor the authentic Nusantara flavors, complimented by the enchanting spectacle of a fire dance performance, bringing the rich cultural heritage to life in scintillating style.
