Following the tremendous success of Padma Run Bandung and Padma Run Semarang last year, Padma Hotels’ most beloved running event returns - this time with an exciting new destination highly requested by its running community: Bali. What began as a small charity run event at Padma Hotel Bandung in 2019 has grown into an annual highlight for both seasoned runners and hobbyists. With the tagline #LaceUpForChange, the event dedicates its proceeds to a chosen cause as part of the Padma GIVE programme (Grant, Inspire, Volunteer, Empower).
As running culture continues to thrive in Indonesia, Padma Run has achieved remarkable milestones year after year. From its original location in Bandung to Semarang, where it now marks Padma Hotel Semarang’s anniversary each September.

Kicking off the new year with energy and enthusiasm, Padma Run Bandung returns this February 2025 for its 4th edition. Following an incredible turnout of 1,100 runners from 54 cities and over 80 running communities last year, the event’s excitement shows no sign of slowing down. This year, runners can look forward to new 5K and 10K routes to Puncak Ciumbuleuit, featuring tougher elevations designed to challenge even the most passionate hill-running enthusiasts.

Combining the thrill of trail running with the allure of a tropical getaway, the first Padma Run Bali will be hosted by Padma Resort Ubud in collaboration with Padma Resort Legian for the race pack collection. Set amidst the serene bamboo forests of Payangan and framed by lush hills, runners can expect scenic routes through verdant landscapes and charming villages.
