COMO Uma Ubud is honoured to present A Night of Giving Smiles, meaningful charity evening in partnership with Yayasan Senyum Bali, taking place on Friday, August 8 th 2025 from 4.00pm until 8.00pm. This special occasion will be held at Kemiri Restaurant, the resort’s open-air dining venue nestled within a lush courtyard and surrounded by natural water features, offering an idyllic setting for a night of purpose and celebration.

This intimate fundraising dinner commemorates Yayasan Senyum Bali’s two decades of transforming lives through free surgeries and medical care for children and individuals with craniofacial conditions such as cleft lip and palate. The event aims to raise funds that will allow the foundation to expand its reach and continue delivering life-changing care to underserved communities across Bali and EasternnIndonesia.

Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully curated family-style dinner inspired by regional Indonesian flavours. Highlights include Ayam Taliwang, a twice-cooked chicken infused with turmeric and lemongrass; grouper braised in a fragrant curry with marrow squash and green chilli; urab pakis, a local fern tip and red bean salad with roasted coconut; and a jackfruit and ginger pudding finished with palm syrup and papaya. The evening begins with a welcome drink and includes a glass of wine from Hatten Wines, a partner supporting the event.

In addition to the dining experience, the evening will feature a curated fashion presentation, showcasing local style and creative expression, as well as a raffle draw and silent auction. All proceeds from the night will go directly to Yayasan Senyum Bali’s surgical and patient care programmes. Each ticket purchased contributes to providing essential surgeries for children in need, offering them the opportunity to live healthier, more confident lives.

Mary Northmore, Founder of Yayasan Senyum Bali, shared: "When we began in 2005, it was with the dream that no child should have to live in pain or shame because of something that can be treated. After 20 years, we are proud of how far we’ve come—but there is still so much more to do. This dinner is not only a celebration, it is a continuation of hope."
