The central figure in Nurlan’s performances is himself. Nurlan freely improvises, involving people from the audience in the monologue, but the concert guests mostly laugh and do not answer him (perhaps realizing that this is fraught with a response punch).

A serious face, charm, sharpness and some kind of directness that is unusual for us, discouraging at the beginning, but absolutely charming every spectator in the hall. A fine line of humor where you obviously don’t want to accuse the comedian of hurting anyone’s feelings. Nurlan does this with such grace and superiority that the only thing left for the viewer is to admire, relax and laugh heartily. To be petrified by the dispassionate monologues and revived by elegant sincerity - this is the whole essence of Nurlan Saburov’s performances.
