Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts invites guests to welcome Chinese New Year 2026 with a thoughtfully paced programme that blends festive dining, cultural performances, and wellness-led moments across the resort. Set against the limestone cliffs of Ungasan, the celebration is designed for families and friends to gather with ease, centred on the reunion table, shared traditions, and simple rituals of renewal in the Year of the Fire Horse, a rare combination associated with dynamism and spirited ambition.
“Chinese New Year is one of the most meaningful times of the year to come together,” said Nicolas Kassab, General Manager, Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts. “At Umana Bali, we have shaped the celebration around the moments people remember most, sharing a table, honouring tradition, and starting the year feeling restored. It’s lively when it should be, and calm when you need it.”

An Art Installation: Collaboration with Fuguku
In the spirit of the Chinese New Year, Umana Bali presents a collaborative art installation with Indonesian design house Fuguku that reflects the season’s themes of renewal, connection, and shared celebration. At the heart of the celebration stands The Fire Horse, a collaborative installation by Umana Bali and Indonesian design house Fuguku. Its flaming mane and muscular form are crafted from recycled plastic materials, transforming today’s waste into tomorrow’s treasure. Beneath its striking presence lies a refined fusion of craft and technique, where traditional textile artistry is paired with the soul of Indonesian Jumputan, reflecting Umana’s Tri Hita Karana philosophy of harmony between people, nature, and God, and this artwork celebrated human connection. The installation becomes a living expression of renewal, cultural exchange, and the shared energy that defines the season.
