To commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, carrying the national theme “United Sovereignty, Prosperous People, Advanced Indonesia”, The Sanur, The Meru Sanur, and the iconic Bali Beach Hotel The Heritage Collection proudly present a series of Independence Day celebration through spectacular program Symphony of Indonesia.
This milestone event aims to ignite the spirit of nationalism, strengthen unity, and provide memorable experiences both for guests and the local community. Symphony of Indonesia, a weekend of festivities that blends music, culinary, and culture to showcase the richness of Indonesia’s heritage and talents through harmonious collaborations, all set in the heart of The Sanur Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
The three-day program will take place from August 15th to 17th, 2025, starting with the “Seaside Jazz Weekend” on the evenings of August 15th and 16th, where guests can enjoy soulful beachside performances at Bali Beach Bar & Grill. On the morning of August 17th, the “Indra Lesmana Surya Sewana” sunrise jazz concert, led by Jazz Maestro Indra Lesmana and featuring talented musicians Indra Gupta, Gustu Brahmanta, Adien Fazmail, Assia Keva, Kuba Skowronski, and the Surya Sewana Balinese Gamelan, will herald the Independence Day celebration. The festivities continue with a flag ceremony and a community event, inviting children from the Indonesian Childhood Cancer Foundation (YKAI), as a continuation of the ongoing partnership following their participation in International Yoga Day earlier this year. Additionally, a free health check-up booth, Kite Flying, and traditional games will be available for guests and the local community at the beach during the Independence Day celebration.
The day’s celebrations will culminate in the Peken Senggol Sunday Brunch at Arunika Restaurant starting from IDR 600,000++ per person, where a specially curated Independence Day menu, live music, and a complimentary heritage cocktail await guests dressed in red and white.
