SKAI Bar & Grill opens 2026 with elevated Mediterranean Sunday Brunch, live entertainment, cocktails, and chef collaboration.

Padma Resort Legian proudly ushers in 2026 with the launch of an exciting annual programme at SKAI Bar & Grill, bringing a rotating culinary collaborations with prominent figures in the industry. Opening the year’s line-up, SKAI Bar & Grill continues the success of the previous SKAI Brunch during the Festive Season with SKAI Sunday Brunch ft. LYD Group, an elevated dining experience designed to set the stage for a year of refined gastronomy.

 

Taking place on Sunday, 11 January 2026, this special brunch will serve as the debut edition in 2026 featuring a collaboration with Chef Jeremy Blezynski, Group Director of Culinary at LYD Bali Group. With the tagline “Flame. Fresh. Mediterranean.”, the guests are invited to boast over a bottomless order of à la carte menu. The experience leads guests through vibrant flavours of the Mediterranean, celebrating the craft of cooking with flame, smoke, and wood.

 

True to SKAI’s signature oceanfront lifestyle, the brunch delivers a dining experience elevated by refined culinary techniques, fresh locally sourced ingredients, interactive chef moments, and a four-hour live DJ with saxophone performance, setting the tone for a relaxed and stylish beachside atmosphere.

 

To elevate the experience further, guests may also enjoy a curated cocktail selection inspired by the Mediterranean coast, such as herb-infused gin spritzers, citrus and olive oil martinis, and sparkling sangria with seasonal fruits.

 

Chef Jeremy, a Polish-Indonesian culinary leader known for his soulful cooking style, oversees the creative direction of LYD Bali Group’s renowned venues such as La Brisa, La Favela, and La Plancha. His refined technique, paired with a passion for char-grilled and smoke-infused flavours, defines his distinctive culinary approach.

 

Joining him is Chef Samuel Barus, SKAI’s home chef, whose 15 years of professional experience include several impactful years at Padma Resort Legian. His diverse culinary background has shaped a philosophy in consistency, precision, and respect for process, these values he credits during his time within the resort’s kitchens. Chef Samuel expressed his excitement for the collaboration, noting Chef Jeremy’s strong technical mastery and shared passion for open-fire cooking. Together, they aim to blend their expertise to create a tasting experience that balances craftsmanship, technique, and creativity.

 

This brunch marks only the beginning, with SKAI Bar & Grill set to collaborate with different acclaimed culinary personalities throughout 2026. Each edition will introduce a new perspective, offering guests a series of thoughtfully curated, chef-driven dining experiences that evolve throughout the year.
