Kwee Zeen Terrace Bar Opens for Negroni Week

This September, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort introduces a new place for exactly that: Kwee Zeen Terrace Bar, a newly transformed open-air bar beside the resort’s signature all-day dining restaurant. The new terrace makes its debut during Negroni Week, 21 - 27 September, in partnership with Campari, bringing together the easy rhythm of Bali afternoons with one of the world’s most enduring aperitivo rituals.

A Terrace Made for the Hours in Between

Set amongst the resort’s lush tropical surroundings, Kwee Zeen Terrace Bar has been refreshed with a warm, earthy palette of terracotta and cream, creating a relaxed setting that feels equally at home in the afternoon sun or beneath the evening sky.

There is a certain charm to the space that comes from its natural surroundings, where greenery frames the terrace and the resort’s resident squirrels occasionally make an appearance among the trees. It is relaxed, but considered, lively without feeling rushed.

Open daily from 11 AM to 11 PM, the terrace is designed to follow the natural rhythm of the day, from a leisurely afternoon drink to pre-dinner aperitivo and late-evening conversations. Happy Hour runs from 3 PM to 6 PM and again from 9 PM to 11 PM, making it an easy stop for those looking to extend the afternoon or ease into the night.

Four Ways to Drink a Negroni

To mark the opening, Kwee Zeen Terrace Bar joins the global celebration of Negroni Week, with a selection that puts a Bali-inspired touch on the classic combination of Campari and vermouth.

For the occasion, the resort’s bartender has created three original interpretations: Flora Salina, Spiced Sonata and Counterpoint, alongside the unmistakable Original Negroni.

Each cocktail is priced at IDR 160,000++ per glass, offering guests the chance to explore the different expressions of a drink that has remained a fixture of aperitivo culture for generations.
