This year, Lion X, Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort’s Chinese Restaurant, proudly unveils six exciting new flavors of glutinous rice dumplings, crafted to delight both traditionalists and adventurous food lovers alike. Chef Alex has curated a trio of savory dumplings that bring a modern twist to beloved classics: Beijing Roasted Duck, featuring succulent duck meat infused with aromatic spices; Braised Pork Knuckle in Cantonese Flavor, slow-cooked to tender perfection with rich, savory undertones; and Classic Scallop XO Sauce with Roasted Chicken, a luxurious pairing that blends the umami depth of premium XO sauce with tender chicken and dried scallops.
For those with a sweet tooth, Chef Alex introduces three indulgent creations: Mango, bursting with the natural sweetness and fragrance of tropical mangoes; Red Bean, a comforting favorite with smooth, earthy notes; and Durian, a bold and creamy treat for fans of the “king of fruits.” These innovative additions celebrate the timeless tradition of glutinous rice dumplings while offering something fresh and unique for every palate.
