Nyepi, Bali’s Day of Silence, marks the Balinese New Year in accordance with the Saka calendar. It is a sacred day dedicated to self-reflection, prayer, and stillness, when the entire island pauses for 24 hours. No flights land, no lights illuminate the streets, and daily activities come to a complete halt. The evening before, however, the island comes alive with the Ogoh Ogoh parade, where towering effigies are carried through villages in a symbolic cleansing ritual.

On 18 March 2026, the resort will host its own Ogoh Ogoh parade beginning at porte cochere, continuing along Jalan Danau Tamblingan toward Andaz Bali, before returning to the resort grounds. The procession invites guests to witness the cultural spectacle in an intimate yet respectful setting.
On 19 March 2026, the Day of Silence itself, Hyatt Regency Bali offers a serene beachfront sanctuary for those seeking a meaningful retreat. The day before Nyepi on 18 March 2026, will also be specially curated. A Balinese BBQ Dinner will be served at Omang Omang Restaurant from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., priced at IDR 550,000++ per person, inclusive of food only. Children aged 6 to 12 years old may dine at half price at IDR 275,000++ per child. The following evening on the day of silence, a Nyepi Dinner will take place at Wantilan 1 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., priced at IDR 590,000++ per person, with a children’s rate of IDR 295,000++ for ages 6 to 12.
