Celebrate the Festive Season at John Hardy Boutique and Gallery, Seminyak

-

Renowned for its Indonesian-inspired Long Table lunches, John Hardy Boutique and Gallery, Seminyak has launched a memorable new menu to celebrate the festive season. Inspired by heritage recipes, the set menu has been created by Executive Chef, Tomy Suputra, as a homage to the celebratory dishes of Indonesia.

The Long Table Lunch began as a way for staff, families and customers to congregate around a meal at their workshop in Mambal. It became an institution, and the tradition continues at John Hardy Boutique and Gallery, Seminyak. It’s an opportunity to enjoy the finest Indonesian food and preserve the culinary traditions of the island and the many cultures that influence it.

John Hardy Boutique and Gallery, Seminyak’s beautiful two-story gallery, jewelry emporium and dining space are laid out over two levels. Facing the terraced garden and temple, The Long Table lunches have been faithfully recreated in the Seminyak space.

‘The Long Table lunch is a tradition that offers our guests the chance to discover Indonesian food at its best, in a unique space with a warm and welcoming service team. Recipes cooked traditionally, grilled on coconut husks, flavored with traditional spices, using organic local produce, it is a celebration of Bali and the islands of Indonesia” explains Polly Purser, Sr Director of Heritage for John Hardy.

With a new festive menu and beautifully crafted cocktails, John Hardy Seminyak is an unmissable spot for food lovers wanting to immerse themselves in a truly local dining experience and the perfect way to celebrate with friends, family and this season's holiday visitors.

The celebratory festive feast showcases nine courses including two dessert offerings. The menu includes Nasi Bakar, a local delicacy of steamed heritage rice wrapped and grilled in banana leaves, a beautifully braised Sumatran beef short rib, fresh local fish cooked in banana leaves, a signature tofu dish and much more. Each meal comes with Chef Tomy’s favorite sambal assortment and krupuk.

“At John Hardy, we are committed to preserving this fascinating culture. From our hand-crafted jewelry to cultural events and Bali’s culinary heritage, our team adds a level of sophistication to the earthy dishes that Indonesia is famous for. From the heritage rice that we grow at the John Hardy workshop to the local farmers we deal with daily, celebrating the culture of Indonesia and creating community is an integral part of our brand philosophy” continues Polly.

From December 1st to the 31st, John Hardy will showcase this very special menu. Book at least one day in advance to secure your seat at the table. During the festive season, guests can also enjoy a private dinner experience overlooking the beautifully lit garden. A minimum of 10 guests is required for the private dinner.

From Balinese coffee to crafted cocktails based on local ingredients and spices, John Hardy Seminyak offers a range of dining experiences throughout the day, from their traditional snack menu to sunset picnics.

Transforming the Long table lunch and offering a private dinner experience is a very special way to celebrate the flavors of Indonesia in a unique setting during the festive season.

The festive feast is priced at Rp550,000++ per person, with wine, cocktails and traditional mocktails offered separately.
