From February 1 to March 3, 2026, guests are invited to harness the energy and spirit of Chinese New Year through a diverse program of celebrations across the resort.

AYANA Bali, the island’s largest integrated resort destination, welcomes Chinese New Year 2026 with an enticing program of festive menus, cultural performances, family activities, and wellness rituals from February 1 to March 3, 2026. Here, the Year of the Horse is celebrated amid breathtaking natural surroundings and moments of joyful connection.

Chinese New Year is a season of reunion, renewal, and shared optimism for the year ahead. In 2026, the Year of the Fire Horse, which only occurs every 60 years, symbolizes strength, freedom, and vitality. This dynamic spirit is reflected in AYANA Bali’s calendar of experiences, designed for families and multigenerational groups seeking meaningful moments in awe-inspiring settings.

Festive Feasts and Afternoon Indulgences

Authentic culinary celebrations unfold at Liu Li Palace Seafood Restaurant, the resort's home of decadent, refined Cantonese and Szechuan cuisine, where a Chinese New Year Hot Pot Special Edition and festive set menus are available for lunch and dinner from February 16 to March 3. Featuring a festive selection of à la carte dishes, handcrafted dim sum, curated set menus, and a special Chinese New Year hot pot, the dining experience invites families and friends to gather over dishes symbolizing abundance, prosperity, and good fortune. Individual set menus start at IDR 1,668,000++, alongside family-style set menus designed for groups of three to five guests.

From February 10 to 20, the celebrations extend to a Chinese New Year Afternoon Tea served at Damar Terrace, an open-air bar skirted by serene lotus ponds and flower gardens, and UNIQUE Rooftop Bar, a chic pool club with stunning Indian Ocean views. Priced at IDR 350,000++ per person, the Afternoon Tea features seasonal flavors and exquisite delicacies, with each venue offering a distinct and atmospheric experience.

Cultural Wonders, Countdown Celebrations, and Fireworks

Weaving Chinese New Year traditions with Balinese artistic expression, a series of cultural performances are showcased across AYANA Bali’s expansive 90-hectare resort. On February 16, Kampoeng Bali comes alive at sunset with a ceremonial procession, followed by dramatic Kecak, barong, and dragon dances. That evening, the iconic Rock Bar sets the stage for the Chinese New Year Countdown, where Barongsai and dragon performances lead into a fireworks display over Jimbaran Bay. The festivities continue on February 17 across Liu Li Palace Seafood Restaurant and RIMBA Lobby, with the exuberant Barongsai dance and traditional firecrackers will enliven both venues.

Family Fun and Children’s Activities

Families with young children will find morning and afternoon schedules of exciting festive activities on February 17, hosted at AYANA’s recently opened themed playgrounds, AYANA Ocean Adventure and RIMBA Jungle Adventure. Sessions include shadow puppet painting, cookie decoration, wooden horse craft, lantern making, scavenger hunts, and hands-on art sessions, with half-day and full-day programs available. Advance reservations are required, and children under four must be accompanied by a parent or babysitter.

Rejuvenating Spa Rituals for the New Year

From February 1 to 28, the award-winning AYANA Spa invites guests to glow, relax, and renew as they welcome the Chinese New Year. Designed to begin the year with balance and rejuvenation are three exclusive treatments: the 120-minute Orange Blossom Ritual (IDR 3,500,000++), the 130-minute Perfect Lunar Glow (IDR 3,600,000++), and the 150-minute Stone & Sea Radiance (IDR 4,500,000++), each formulated to restore body and mind for the year ahead.
