Dux Stella Voce Launches a Journey Entitled Naksatra Yatra
Naksatra Yatra began in early 2025 with a friendship concert, Madz Jakarta in Concert, a collaboration with the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers. Building on this vision, Dux Stella Voce is set to represent Indonesia on the global stage by competing in the prestigious Tokyo International Choir Competition 2025 this July, entering both the Mixed Choir and Contemporary categories.
Following their remarkable win as Grand Champion of the Penabur International Choir Festival 2024 in Jakarta, the group has only grown more passionate about reaching new heights. Ahead of their Tokyo performance, two major concerts will be held under the Naksatra Yatra banner—a farewell concert in Jakarta and a cultural concert in Tokyo.
Syahdilla Affan, Chairman of Dux Stella Voce, shared: “Naksatra Yatra is our heartfelt expression of love for music and gratitude for the journey we've undertaken. It represents the spirit of knighthood—a pursuit of victory among the stars.” The concert will be led by Alfredo Agustinus Randy Kowi, the group’s long-standing conductor and art director, whose leadership has been instrumental in their success.
Audiences can look forward to an enchanting musical experience, featuring a carefully selected repertoire that spans folk songs, contemporary works, classical masterpieces, and romantic era compositions.
