BIS Hosts Charity Football Tournament for Refugee Education

The BIS Refugee Learning Nest (RLN) Club successfully hosted its football charity tournament on February 27 and March 6, bringing together students from Temasek, BAIS, CBCS, Paulus, and BIS for a meaningful cause. The event aimed to raise funds and awareness for refugees connected to the Refugee Learning Nest community in Bogor. With special guest Marc Klok, captain of Persib Bandung, attending the opening ceremony, the tournament began with great energy and enthusiasm. 

Over the two days, the matches were exciting and well played, and the event successfully raised Rp. 20,000,000 which will go to support sports and education for young refugees, while also spreading awareness among the participating schools and the wider community about the situation of refugees and the RLN school in Bogor. In the final results, Paulus took first place, while BIS finished in second place after a strong performance throughout the tournament. 

Overall, the tournament was a great success, bringing schools together through football while supporting an important cause.
