The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud,is pleased to announce the appointment of Saraswati Subadia as its new General Manager, effective July 7, 2025. With over two decades of experience in hospitality, Saras brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion to her new role at the wellness inspired resort nestled in the heart of Bali’s cultural and spiritual center.
Saras began her hospitality journey in 1998 and has since built a strong foundation across sales, marketing, and operations. Her expertise in the meetings and events segment, along with leadership roles at several renowned hospitality brands, shaped her into the dynamic and people oriented leader she is today.
Her journey with Marriott International began in 2013 at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, where she served as Director of Sales Group before being promoted to Director of Sales & Marketing in 2019. Embracing a broader leadership path, Saras transitioned into operations in 2023 and most recently held the position of Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms.
A true embodiment of The Westin brand, Saras is deeply committed to promoting wellbeing not just as a professional standard, but as a personal philosophy.
