Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo proudly celebrates its 4th anniversary under the theme “Fourever Funtastic”, marking another milestone in its journey as a premier destination in Labuan Bajo. This year’s celebration is not just about fun and excitement but also about giving back to the community through impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The highlight of the anniversary week includes a grand employee celebration and a series of CSR activities that reflect Meruorah’s commitment to social responsibility.
As part of the celebration, Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo collaborated with PMI West Manggarai to organize a blood donation drive on 10 October 2024. This initiative aimed to collect donations from 100 donors, including employees, hotel guests, and the local community. The overwhelming support from everyone involved highlights Meruorah's dedication to improving the lives of others through tangible actions.
The significance of blood donation cannot be overstated. In addition to the blood donation drive, Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo extended its CSR efforts to Rumah Singgah St. Theresia in Waemedu. The team donated essential school supplies and groceries, including food and cleaning equipment, to help support the daily operations of this important community resource. Rumah Singgah St. Theresia plays a crucial role in providing a safe space and education for underprivileged children, and Meruorah’s contributions will help ease the challenges faced by the organization in its mission.
