In its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and community empowerment, Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar is proud to announce a collaboration with Sugar Souvenir, a creative local brand from Bandung, to launch the Drop Box Upcycle initiative. This program invites hotel guests and the local community to donate plastic and textile waste, which will then be transformed into eco-friendly souvenirs with both economic and aesthetic value.
As a Neighborhood Hotel, Hotel Indigo Bandung strives to stay deeply connected with the local community by supporting creative entrepreneurs like Sugar Souvenir, which is renowned for its innovative approach in turning waste into unique, functional products. Through this partnership, the hotel aims to encourage guests and the wider community to take part in environmental preservation while promoting the growth of Bandung’s creative industries.
The Drop Box Upcycle program will officially be introduced through a Talk show & Launching Event, scheduled as follows:

This event will feature insightful discussions on sustainable waste management, upcycling innovations, and the creative process behind transforming discarded materials into high-value products. Guests are encouraged to bring their plastic and textile waste to contribute directly to the Drop Box Upcycle during the launch.

Following the launch, the Drop Box Upcycle will be available in the lobby of Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar, where hotel guests and the public are welcome to participate at any time. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of upcycled souvenirs will be managed by Sugar Souvenir, reflecting the hotel’s full support for empowering local creative businesses.
Through this initiative, Hotel Indigo Bandung and Sugar Souvenir aim to create a sustainable impact, positioning Bandung as a hub for eco-friendly innovation and local creative empowerment.
