We were delighted to join Hatten Wines at The Cellardoor for a special gathering to celebrate their remarkable wins at the 2025 China Wine & Spirits Awards (CWSA) and AWC Vienna Summer Tasting. The evening brought together media partners, friends, and industry insiders to raise a glass to one of Bali’s most respected wine pioneers. The atmosphere was elegant yet warm, starting with canapés and mingling before moving into a long-table wine tasting session.

During the celebration, Hatten Wines’ founder, Ida Bagus Rai Budarsa, delivered an inspiring speech, expressing his pride in seeing Bali-crafted wines recognized on such prestigious stages. The timing was extra special, as the awards coincided with Hatten Wines’ anniversary—turning the evening into a double celebration of achievement and legacy. Guests enjoyed tasting four of Hatten’s signature wines, including Syrah and Pino de Bali, guided by insights from Marketing Manager Dewi Raditya, Pak Rai himself, and Hatten's prolific winemaker James Kalleske.
The awards themselves were impressive: at CWSA 2025, Hatten’s Aga Red, Aga Rosé, Aga White, Jepun Sparkling Rosé, Pino de Bali, Sweet Alexandria, and Tunjung Brut Sparkling all earned Gold Medals. Meanwhile, at AWC Vienna 2025—the world’s largest officially recognized wine competition—Pino de Bali and Sweet Alexandria scored Gold, alongside Two Islands Reserve Shiraz, with several more wines taking Silver medals and Seals of Approval.
These results highlight not only quality but also the consistency of Hatten Wines in showcasing Bali’s terroir to the world. Congratulations once again to Hatten Wines for these well-deserved honors!
