The Papandayan Jazz Festival is back again this year. Presenting a combination of musicians across genres, The Papandayan Jazz Festival 2023 will present big names in the Indonesian music industry.
The Papandayan Jazz Fest 2023 will be held on 28-29 October 2023 at The Papandayan Hotel Bandung. There will be 200 musicians who will fill 50 performances of The Papandayan Jazz Festival 2023.

These include Barry Likumahuwa & The Rhythm Service, Karimata, Ardhito Pramono, Kahitna feat Arsy Widianto, Dwiki Dharmawan, KSP x Wachdach (special project), Gerald Situmorang, Sarah n' Soul, art Of Tree, Teza Sumendra, Oele Pattiselano, Maliq & D'Essentials and many more.
Festival Director of The Papandayan Jazz Fest, Eki Puradiredja, said that the selection of musicians who appeared was based on careful curation. From the beginning, The Papandayan Jazz Fest 2023 has deliberately allocated more portions to jazz musicians.
"We still maintain this balance. There are big names, legendary names, famous jazz musicians. We still maintain the majority of these jazz musicians. There are also names that are currently hits and newcomers," explained Eki.
Apart from presenting concerts, Eki ensures that The Papandayan Jazz Festival presents music clinics with teachers who are experts in their fields. This year, the music clinic presented by The Papandayan Jazz Fest is Basic Jazz Vocabulary which will be presented by Sri Hanuraga (Aga) and Rhythm & Groove with Barry Likumahuwa.
The Papandayan Jazz Festival 2023 will present 6 stages, namely, Mirten Lounge, TP Stage, HBGG, Cimanuk, Suagi, and Free Stage. The Papandayan Jazz Fest also provides space for MSME players to open booths.
