Earth Hour Celebrated at Hard Rock Hotel Bali with dine in the dark and sustainable activities

 Hard Rock Hotel Bali

Hard Rock Hotel Bali embraced the spirit of Earth Hour on March 23rd, 2024, with a special event highlighting sustainability and environmental conservation efforts. The evening featured a unique dine-in-the-dark experience at Splash on Fire, where guests enjoyed sustainable flamed menus and cocktails made with ingredients sourced from local farms and suppliers.

In addition to the themed dinner, guests were treated to acoustic music at Centerstage as they participated in the one-hour light-off event. During this time, children engaged in eco-friendly arts and crafts activities using reusable items such as used cardboard, toilet tissue rolls and paper. The purpose of these activities was to educate children that even the simplest actions may help to the protection of the earth. Several short videos from the official Earth Hour were also showcased on the giant screen at Centerstage, highlighting the global importance of the initiatives.

At 8.30 pm, all non-essential lights were turned off throughout the hotel from the Giant Surfboard, hotel lobby, Centerstage, and all outlets, leaving only rechargeable lamps and flameless candles on. This symbolic gesture underscored Hard Rock Hotel Bali's commitment to supporting environmental initiatives and making a positive impact on the planet.

"Every year, Hard Rock Hotel Bali stands by our motto of 'Save the Planet' by participating in Earth Hour and promoting sustainable practices," said Shane Coates, General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Bali. "We believe that it is crucial to raise awareness about environmental conservation and inspire our guests to join us in taking action to protect our planet."

As a leading hospitality establishment in Bali, Hard Rock Hotel Bali remains dedicated to incorporating sustainable practices into its operations and supporting initiatives that help preserve the environment for future generations.
