It’s been four years since Grand Rohan Jogja has been in the midst of society and has been active among the many hotels in Jogjakarta. Commemorated every 1 Muharram 1443 H, which this year falls on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, Grand Rohan Jogja welcomes gratitude for the 4th anniversary by holding a commemoration event attended by all employees and management.

This simple event was held by still implementing health protocols in the semi-open space of the Pendopo Ageng Rohan. This event was held as a form of gratitude for the journey taken together during these four years, especially for the last 2 years which are quite difficult because of the pandemic situation.

“Thank you to all the teams who are still willing to work together at Grand Rohan Jogja and wholeheartedly be able to adapt to the new normal era regulations so that we can still provide the best service to guests. And we should be grateful that since the rebranding to Grand Rohan Jogja, the guests have remained loyal to the hotel, which has greatly impacted the work performance of Grand Rohan Jogja even though it is still in the difficult situation of this pandemic.” said the General Manager of Grand Rohan Jogja, Asmoro Handriyanto, in his opening remarks.

The internal event was also attended by the owner of the Grand Rohan Jogja, Hj. Rochani and H. drh. Agung Tri Haryanto, M.M. as President Director. With the theme “Doa untuk Indonesia” this event was filled with cutting tumpeng, recitation, prayer together and screening of a video congratulating anniversary for Grand Rohan Jogja as well as praying for Indonesia from several well-known clerics in Jogja and Indonesia such as Ustadz Abdul Somad, Ustadz Wijayato, Ustadz Dwi Chondro Triono and Ustadz Ananto Wibowo. The theme “Prayer for Indonesia” was chosen because it felt very fitting to the current moment where all Indonesian people are struggling during this pandemic. Therefore, the management invited all employees to pray together for all of Indonesia so that they can survive this difficult time and the pandemic will end soon. The event was closed by distributing door prizes to all employees as a form of appreciation for maintaining cohesiveness and doing their best for the hotel.

“We hope that Grand Rohan Jogja will increasingly become the top preferred hotel when guests visit Jogja and we hope we can continue to provide the best service as a 4-star sharia-concept hotel for every guest with attractive promos and innovations in our services and products.” closed Shela Novitasari, Marketing Communications Manager, Grand Rohan Jogja.
