The Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta successfully held its 2026 New Year's celebration, titled "A Night of Rhapsody." The event combined music, performing arts, sumptuous dining, and meaningful moments of togetherness.
Held in the Sultanate Ballroom, this New Year's celebration was an unforgettable experience for guests. Guests were entertained by stunning performances by the Centili Dance Group, who presented energetic and expressive choreography, and Violet Violin, a finalist in a renowned Indonesian talent search competition.
The highlight of the celebration was a special performance by Dimas Senopati, an Indonesian rock musician widely known for his rock and pop covers. Throughout the evening, Dimas Senopati performed a selection of 10 songs, lifting the spirits of the audience.
The festivities continued on the outdoor stage outside the ballroom, where DJ Aletta entertained guests with lively tunes. The night was further enlivened by a lively flash mob collaboration with the Centili Dance Group, which took place shortly after the countdown.
"A Night of Rhapsody" also featured various attractive prizes, including complimentary stays at several star-rated hotels in Yogyakarta and other destinations throughout Indonesia. For the culinary experience, Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta presented special signature dishes, including international cuisine and some Indonesian favorites.
As the countdown approached, Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta guests were asked to take a moment of prayer as an expression of solidarity and concern for the communities affected by disasters in several regions of Indonesia. Even without a fireworks display, the New Year's celebration was still warm, meaningful, and lively.
