Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta is once again hosting HyWeekend Fest, a festival that supports local UMKM, creative communities, and wellness activities, titled "Festive Wonderland." HyWeekend Fest will take place on November 28-30, 2025, at Merapi Garden and The Residence Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta. This year's HyWeekend Fest combines two of Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta's flagship programs: Weekend Market and Wellbeing Weekend.
Providing a space for local UMKM to express themselves
Weekend Market is a curated pop-up market for local brands, held for the first time in 2023 in collaboration with Pasar Keliling. Forty-five local, sustainable brands will be present, bringing a variety of products ranging from fashion, accessories, handicrafts, home decor, personal care products, children's necessities, to culinary delights worth exploring.
Besides shopping, visitors can also enjoy a variety of entertainment, such as performances by the Nawasena Dance Studio and the Young Cultural Ambassador, Rania Artanti Helga Putri, performances from the Jogja Music School, stand-up comedy, a talk show featuring Keju with Rumah Keju Jogja and VoKS Radio Jogja, a Flair Bartending Show, performances by Hyatt Mencari Bakat participants, and a showcase from the Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta F&B team.
Meaningful and culturally intense activities
Wellbeing Weekend features a variety of fitness and mindfulness activities, creative workshops, and cultural preservation workshops facilitated by the local community. Activities include yoga, Pilates, Pound Fit, and Barre Intensity.

There are also art therapy classes, mindful eating classes, and incense making. Combined with cultural activities, visitors can also participate in meditation sessions with berkain and jemparingan, a traditional Yogyakarta archery art.

These weekend activities offer alternative activities, including flower arranging, beauty classes, cheese-making, resin-making, and pottery workshops. All classes are available for IDR 95,000 net per person.
For children, there will also be a crawling competition for toddlers, a fashion show for young designers, story readings, traditional games, and face painting. This event is open to the public and free of charge.
