On Friday, August 2, 2024, the 1O1 Style Yogyakarta Malioboro hotel formalized a partnership with Kemantren Pakualaman, Yogyakarta City to boost the local economy, arts, culture, and tourism within the Pakualaman strategic space unit. The agreement was signed in the Srimpi meeting room at the hotel.
The signing ceremony was led by AR. Atik Damarjati, Hotel Manager of 1O1 Style Yogyakarta Malioboro, and Saptohadi, S.I.P, Mantri Pamong Praja of Kemantren Pakualaman. Also present were Wahyu Wikan Trispratiwi, General Manager of the PHM Hotel Cluster for Yogyakarta, Mr. Ismail, Head of Purwokinanti and owner representative of 1O1 Style Yogyakarta Malioboro, members of the Kemantren Pakualaman UMKM Communication Forum, the Head of Pokdarwis, and several local residents.
The collaboration between 1O1 Style Yogyakarta Malioboro and Kemantren Pakualaman encompasses three main areas: economic development, cultural enrichment, and tourism enhancement. The hotel will support local UMKM by offering display space for their products, promote and preserve local arts, including traditional dances, and partner with UMKM and Pokdarwis to create a village tour package that highlights local tourist attractions, culinary experiences, and cultural heritage.
