To welcome Chinese New Year 2025, The Duck King Plaza Ambarrukmo presents a special celebration in the form of a special "Chinese New Year" edition menu that is only available on January 28 and 29, 2025. This menu was specially created by the chef of The Duck King Plaza Ambarrukmo to enrich the culinary experience of customers with authentic flavors.
The Chinese New Year 2025 menu at The Duck King Plaza Ambarrukmo includes various special dishes that symbolize good luck, prosperity, and happiness. One of the main dishes is Yusheng, a colorful salad rich in celebratory symbols according to Chinese New Year traditions.
Yusheng consists of coriander leaves, lime leaves, white radish, carrots, ginger, papaya, grapefruit, taro, sesame, sweet potato, peanuts, candied orange, sweet gourd, jellyfish, crackers, smoked salmon, lime, perfume, yu sheng sauce (plum sauce), pepper powder, and gohyong powder. Yusheng is also believed to be a symbol of hope, prosperity, and success.
The tradition of enjoying Yusheng is carried out with the Lo Hei ritual, where the whole family stirs the salad together while saying the best wishes or prayers for the coming year, then lifting the ingredients or prosperity toss which is believed to bring good luck. The Chinese New Year menu at The Duck King Plaza Ambarrukmo can be obtained from a price of IDR 368,800 per person.
This menu is available in 3 different set options with varying prices. All of these set menus are only available once a year during Chinese New Year, including Tim Sup Hisit, Fakau, Dry Scallop, and Free Range Chicken.
